Participation in a meeting on special chemicals in Novocherkassk

September 26, 2019 in Novocherkassk on the basis of the South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M.I. Platov, an industry meeting was held “The state and development of work on the creation and implementation of modern automated control systems for hazardous technological processes,” at which the design institutes were represented by the development director of KhimPromEngineering, I. A. Afanasyev.

At the meeting, issues of developing automated control systems (ACS) for hazardous technological processes in the processing of energy materials and the formation of a professional design community capable of solving problems in the field of designing safe technologies for processing energy materials were reviewed and discussed.

During the discussion of the presentations, the meeting participants summed up the results of the implementation of the projects “Automation of hazardous special chemical technologies” for the period 2012-2019. and discussed proposals for its development taking into account the developments of the South Russian State Polytechnic University (NPI) named after M.I. Platov” and technical solutions of the research and production company “Plastic Enterprise”. The participants also reviewed existing problems and patterns of functioning of hazardous production facilities and proposed directions for solving them in order to reduce sources of danger and production costs. Basic criteria and principles for the development and design of technologies that use energy materials were formulated.

Based on the results of the work at the meeting, recommendations were given to industry enterprises, Spetskhimiya JSC and the project community on the development of the necessary documents and measures to reduce the level of danger in production zones of industrial facilities.
